CIDA works in partnership with the East London Design Show (ELDS) to support designers through a range of projects. From the provision of business support and professional development advice to showcasing and profile-raising opportunities, CIDA seeks to enable East London’s talented designers to make a success of their business – both creatively and commercially.
ELDS and CIDA work together on a range of projects supporting both emerging and established design talent in East London, also on developing projects from shared workspace and exhibition spaces linked to 2012 and providing opportunities and projects that enable creative practitioners to collaborate on and share commissions.
For Creative Links 2007 ELDS has curated a specially commissioned installation, enabling the designers to be involved from the space’s conception to completion.
This provides a valuable opportunity for emerging and established designers in Furniture, Product Design, Lighting, Animation, Graphics, Fashion, Photography, Jewellery, Glass and Ceramics to work together to create a stimulating installation that we hope you enjoy.
ELDS is an annual event that brings together the best of the UK's independent product, interior and jewellery designers, all under one roof. Taking place in the area with the richest concentration of artists and designers in the UK the show profiles the very best of Britains product, interior and fashion designers - with many exhibitors using the event to launch new work, ELDS has become the place to spot design stars of the future.
