CIDA's 5th Creative Links event took place on 18 & 19 October 2007, once again featuring a dynamic mix of advice, information, showcasing and support opportunities that hundreds from London’s creative community took full advantage of.
The event took place in The Old Truman Brewery’s Atlantis Gallery on Brick Lane - a spectacular space (if a little chilly at times!). Over the three days, Creative Links 2007 filled the venue with over 50 exhibitors and stands, multi-media installations, Film Café, seminars and networking events-not to mention the hundreds of creative professionals and students that attended throughout.
Creative Links is a unique event, offering diverse creative business support and advice opportunities, along with the invaluable chance to meet other creative people and make new contacts, all conveniently under one roof and all completely free!
From the VIP launch to the end of the Cut & Paste tournament, Creative Links 2007 provided a fantastic environment for local creative talent to receive support, advice and ideas in a range of ways. But don’t just take our word for it; here are some comments from those that attended this year’s expo:
‘Great way to meet members of the creative community!’
‘What did I get out of it? Seeing other people in the same position, talking to like-minded individuals, making new contacts or strengthening existing ones, receiving information and personal advice.’
